Welcome to boxing. Previously this site was used as a forum, but as a result of lack of participation and spam attacks, it was decided to change to a general information website on everything to do with the greatest sports of all...Boxing.

I wouldn't be described as an expert on the finer points of this ancient art of combat, although like most people, I can watch a fight on tv, or at the local tournament and comment on, what the boxer should have done, or shouldn't have done.,

It always looks easy of course when your just watching from a safe distance.

However, I would be described as a passionate fan of boxing, and even perhaps an amateur fighter who's gone a round or two.

I've had my share of "step outside" the wherever and even spent about a year sweating my A... off in a Muay Thai boxing camp in Thailand.

I love watching two highly trained participants, battle it out in the ring for supremecy, and like most of you, I have a morbid fascination with watching a "Tyson" type fighter, who's ready to launch himself at his opponent with an explosive flurry of well timed and properly executed punches.

But to really understand the vast technical knowledge, of what it takes to be judged a boxing expert worth his salt, I have to admit my shortcomings.

So whats a person like me managing a boxing website. Well as I said before, because I'm passionate about the sport and I believe, with a little more self motivation in my earlier years, getting my priorities right and pulling myself away from the constant, flimsy distractions, I might even have become a great fighter.

Thats maybe just all wishful thinking of course and dreams of boxing grandeur, have now faded into "here and now" reality.

What I maybe good at however, is to create an awesome site, that has all the information and links, to everything a person needs to know about the greatest sports of all.

Now I know what many of you are thinking...'what a cheap and boring looking template'...Well lets not jump to conclusions. This site may not have all the "bells and whistles", but it is very functional and has the potential to becoming a very useful source of inspiration.
